The ACCI open leadership development program is run in a central location in Singapore, where we create a unique confidential environment for leadership development. Your managers work with a small group of peers from a variety of commercial, consultancy, industrial and government leaders from around the Asia Pacific region and as far afield as Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Based on our Profitable Leadership™ framework, this management training will help them make adjustments to what they spend their time doing AND learn coaching skills to support new behaviours; in themselves and their teams. Leadership Development training program

The program consists of three modules

Module One: Performance Conversations   (3 days)
is Performance Conversations, consisting of three days in the classroom environment, followed by a series of carefully designed Skills Embedding Process (SEP) sessions conducted by phone. The program allows managers to examine their leadership behaviour and how they spend their time. Then we equip them with the core coaching skills and take them through practice of the first key applications, Getting away from being the  “manager as expert” who spends time being the problem solver, and move to using their experience to develop their people’s abilities by coaching them to solve their own problems. Next we teach them simple and effective coaching conversations structures to give effective feedback and make performance management a “One-Time” conversation. The module has a full follow-up Skills Embedding Process (SEP) to ensure transfer of learning and enhancement of skill.

Module Two: Leadership Conversations, part 1   (2 days)
is a further two days in the classroom. Picking up from the content of Performance Conversations this module takes coaching skills to a deeper and more strategic level. The course then covers additional role-specific applications of coaching in the corporate environment, including: Conflict Resolution Coaching, Phone Coaching and Coaching for Awareness. Again, the module is followed by the Skills Embedding Process to ensure transfer of learning and continuous improvement of skills.

Module Three: Leadership Conversations, part 2   (3 days)
is a further three days in the classroom. This module takes coaching skills to a deeper and more strategic level. The course then covers additional role-specific applications of coaching in the corporate environment, including: Setting Behavioural Objectives, Transition Coaching, Coaching against Leadership Competencies, Team Coaching, Virtual Leadership, Coaching in the Matrix Organization and Coaching Rapid Organizational Change. Again, the module is followed by the Skills Embedding Process to ensure transfer of learning and continuous improvement of skills.

ACCI Alumni membership*: provides ongoing support via access to membership website containing a growing library of course material and additional content, written and audio, plus monthly group coaching session to give ongoing support and development of skills by our senior coaches.
